Acer Spin 3 Convertible

The Acer Spin 3 hits the checkmark on flexibility and utility with, as the name suggests, an ability for a 360 degree monitor rotation. For many laptops lying under the 500$ radar, the possibility to flip the screen and turn your laptop into a handy tablet is almost never seen as an option, making this machine a unique investment to users looking to be unburdened from a keyboard.

Aesthetics wise, it prides itself with a sleek crosshatched metallic surface, holding space for two 3.0 USB ports, one 2.0 USB port, an HDMI port, full-size SD slot, along with a built-in safety measure in the form of a Kensington lock. While many cheap laptops risk security in favour of cutting cost, undoubtedly the security of this model offers is one of its most attractive features.

The 14” inch display provides striking images in the crisp 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, a perk hard to find in budget-models. With a moderately light weight of a tablet and the processing power of a laptop, this device provides a reliable use not only for the workplace but in the classroom too. Parents looking to give their children a platform to do their homework on, or spend free time for gaming, can find their answer in this laptop with its sturdy Intel i3-8130U processor, modest 4GB of RAM, and the hard drive holding a delightful 1TB worth of power. The battery can last a somewhat lacking 6 hours. The keyboard and touchpad, though small, is responsive and fast. All in all, the Acer Spin 3’s easily holds title for one of the most affordable, environment-adaptable, 2-in-1 laptops.
